I noticed very low numbers for calories consumed over the last two days and checked and double checked that I had entered all my meals. It turns out that the 'consumed?' box was unchecked for some and thus they went uncounted. This seems to be new as of the most recent update but I could be wrong.

Does this happen when I copy and paste a meal and I must manually check the box that I actually ate the food?

We have recently changed the way meals are copied and pasted. From now on whenever you copy and paste a meal you will need to manually check it as consumed for it to count towards your consumed Calorie total.

I was wondering why it only seemed to be counting certain meals. TP takes another step to make itself harder to use.

What is the logic behind this decision? If I copy and paste a meal, odds are good it's because I ate it again.

Why not have meals pasted into the future be marked as not consumed, and ones pasted into the past be marked as consumed?

Odds are good if you are pasting it into the past, yes, you have consumed it. If you are pasting into the future, you are probably planning your meals, so they should not be marked as consumed (yet).

Paul,

This functions just as you describe. Please check your My Settings>Nutritional Preferences and select your preferred time of meals.

Confused In this same thread, Dan McIntosh of Peaksware said this: "From now on whenever you copy and paste a meal you will need to manually check it as consumed for it to count towards your consumed Calorie total". That contradicts what you are saying.

Sorry for the confusion. We had a discussion yesterday to get clear on the functionality of the meal consumption. If a meal is marked as consumed already and you drag and drop it into the future, it will remain marked as consumed. If a meal is marked as consumed and you first save it to your meal library, and then drag it into the future, it will be marked as planned (not consumed). Let me know if you have further questions on this. Thanks!

If you copy and paste a meal marked as consumed from the past to the present or a future day it will be marked as planned (not consumed) and does not remain as consumed.
