Welcome! I've created these plans to help you become a better athlete. They were written with knowledge learned from 15+ years of duathlon racing and 5+ years coaching experience working with duathletes of every age and every ability. Each plan was written with the goal of helping you reach maximum fitness based on the amount of training time allotted.
These plans all use TrainingPeaks.com. At this website you'll be able to login and see your complete plan after purchase. At TrainingPeaks.com you can record all your workouts by time, distance, etc., compute your heart rate zones (see my Training Intensity link), review all your workouts, plus much, much more. In 2002, after 13 years of keeping a paper training log, I switched to using TrainingPeaks.com as my only training log. It's a great tool and I'll never go back to a paper training log.
Several documents are included on this page and I would encourage you to refer to them often to help you get the most out of your training. Athletic success comes from a series of good habits - from consistent training to proper nutrition to good recovery. Your success is dependent upon your ability to form these good habits.
