A mountain bike will not be sufficient enough to complete the intended goals of this plan. Having a bike that fits properly can translate into finishing a century hours faster than on an improper bike.
Weekly Hours and Long rides: The weekly training hours of this plan do not exceed 9.5hrs. The fewest hours scheduled per week are 6hrs. Each weekend has a weekly long ride scheduled of between 2hrs and 3.5hrs.
Each week has one or two complete days off from training to ensure proper recovery.
